How do you define public engagement in the Greek framework? Which factors influence citizens’participation? Who, when, how and why does one participate in a project? How do you map and approach stakeholders? How do we adapt our message to different audiences? These were some of the questions addressed during the Public Engagement Workshop organised by Place Identity on Friday December 4th 2015 at the Goethe Institute in Thessaloniki. The Workshop was held for the 12 young Cultural Managers selected in the “ΣτART – Youth Initiatives in Greece” programme to develop youth cultural projects in schools, universities, neighborhoods, jails and cultural organisations across Greece. The programme is run by the Robert Bosch Stiftung in collaboration with Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki and the Bundesvereinigung Soziokultureller Zentren e.V.
